At the Griffin Inn you can expect to find a warm welcome, friendly staff
together with an informal atmosphere.
We are also dog lovers so if you would like to bring along your 'best friend'
they would be most welcome providing he/she is kept on a lead at all times.
The Griffin Inn business was purchased by us in September 2006 and we have been
gradually refurbishing the restaurant and pub. A new tile floor has been laid
in the bar area and new seating in each of the rooms adjacent to the bar.
Each room also has an inglenook fireplace giving a warm and cosy ambience
on those cold winter nights.
If you would like to have a meal you can choose from a variety of delicious
home cooked meals on our menu. You can eat in the bar or one of our bar
lounges if you like eating out but would still enjoy the atmosphere of a pub.
The Griffin Inn also has a separate restaurant if you prefer a more restaurant
orientated atmosphere or if you are celebrating a birthday, wedding or christening.
The restaurant is an inviting room which has recently undergone a complete
transformation and new furnishings. This room looks out to the back of the
Inn which will eventually become a beer garden.
The Griffin Inn now appears in the Good Food Guide
